CHAIR'S REPORT

DELEGATIONS

Item 2 - Former Langara Golf Course Clubhouse
Mr. Rick Kozak, Vancouver Heritage Commission, requested to appear before the Board regarding the former Langara Golf Course Clubhouse.

Item 4 - PATHS (People Access Through Hard Situations)
Keith David Benjamin, Architect, requested to appear before the Board regarding a path system for the physically challenged.

PLANNING/ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVES/OPERATIONS (Commissioner DeGenova)

2. Former Langara Golf Course Clubhouse
   Staff report dated October 4, 1995 recommending that the Board authorize the demolition of the former Langara Golf Clubhouse and redevelop the site to include parking and landscaping.
   
3. Leave of Absence - Director of Planning and Development
   Staff report dated September 26, 1995 recommending that the Board grant a 10 day leave of absence with pay to the park Board Director of Planning to "assist in the development of a community based strategy to revitalize the Parque Metropolitano Habana - a 670 hectare region in the heart of Havana".

4. PATHS (People Access Through Hard Situations)
   This will be a late distribution report.
5. Trout Lake Little League Fieldhouse Proposal
   Staff report dated October 2, 1995 recommending that the Board conduct a community consultation survey regarding the building of a 500 square foot fieldhouse on the eastern side of John Hendry Park.

INCOME OPERATIONS/MARKETING/PUBLIC AFFAIRS (Commissioner Fetherstonhaugh)

6. The Naming of Park Sites
   Staff report dated October 2, 1995 recommending that the Board consider naming the parks contained in this report.
