CHAIR'S REPORT

The Chair reported on the artists' reception held last week for the Stanley Park Environmental Art Project.

STAFF REPORTS

2009 Fees & Charges
The new schedule for 2009 Fees and Charges was received for information and adjustments approved which reflect inflationary increases and market rates. Public feedback for proposed policy changes will continue to be sought.

Stanley Park Forest Management Plan Progress Report
The Board received for information a progress report and directed staff to seek community input on the Stanley Park Forest Management Plan, which had been identified in the 2007 Restoration Plan as a 'supporting legacy' of the project.

Award of Concession to Manage and Operate the Celebration Pavilion at Queen Elizabeth Park
The Chapel at Stanley Park Enterprises was granted approval to manage and operate the Celebration Pavilion at Queen Elizabeth Park for a five year term with an option to renew for up to an additional five years.

Bell Mobility Proposal - Cellular Enhancements for Killarney and Trout Lake Ice Rinks
The Board approved a Letter of Understanding and subsequently a license agreement with Bell Mobility, which will allow enhanced cellular coverage to remain inside the two training rink facilities at Trout Lake and Killarney after the 2010 Winter Games.

2009 Special Events
The Board approved changes to the existing major events with Scotia Bank Half Marathon (June 28, 2009) and Vancouver Pride Society (August 2, 2009); the 2009 Calendar of Major Events was received as information.
