STAFF REPORTS

2011 Budget Reduction Initiatives
The Board approved a series of budget reduction initiatives in park and recreation services for next year totalling $730,000. Starting next month, staff will put in place the plans to adjust services in all the affected areas. The Park Board 2011 operating budget will be approved by the Board at their public meeting January 17.

Contract Award for Trillium Park Fieldhouse
The Board awarded the contract for construction of the field house at Trillium Park to Rogad Construction (2006) in the amount of $834,538. The new facility will contain public washrooms and changerooms. The project is funded in part by the Federal Infrastructure Stimulus Program.
