CHAIR'S REPORT
The Chair reported on the GHG reduction recognition event at Sunset Nursery, Day of Mourning, return of the antique firetruck to Stanley Park, opening of the new Creekside Child Development Centre, Youth Politik, Strathcona community event, Earth Day at Everett Crowley Park and Vancouver Heritage Fair.

COMMITTEE REPORT
On the last Services and Budgets Committee agenda: funding of summer playground programs and March financial statements.

GENERAL MANAGER'S REPORT
Park Board related items on Council agenda this week: Transportation Plan update and 2010 Statement of Financial Information.

STAFF REPORTS

Greenest City Action Team (GCAT) Update
The Board received for information an update on the Greenest City Action Team goals, targets and action items.

Construction Contract Award - 600 Moberley Road Car Park (Charleson Park Tennis Courts) Repairs
The contract was awarded to TNC Restoration Ltd. in the amount of $565,310 for repairs to the five Charleson Park tennis courts atop the Car Park at 600 Moberly Road. The popular courts are used by local residents and for programs out of the False Creek Community Centre.

Village Kitchen at Creekside Community Recreation Centre - Award of Contract Amendment of Terms
To correct an error regarding the number of extension terms in the recently awarded lease to Daniel Hospitality Group for construction and operation of the new waterfront restaurant at Creekside Community Recreation Centre, the Board rescinded the February 28th motion and approved a 5 year lease with up to 3 additional 5 year extension terms.
