CHAIR'S REPORT
DELEGATIONS
- Barrie Mowatt requested to speak to the Board regarding art at Park
Board facilities.
STAFF REPORTS
- Results of the Work of the Food Policy
Task Force
This report was referred from the meeting of the Board held on Monday,
January 12, 2004. Staff report dated January 5, 2004 recommending
that the Board receive the report for information.
- Financial Support Request for the
Millennium Sport Facility
Staff report dated January 15, 2004 recommending that the Board endorse
the attached Council
Report and that the board direct staff to include an additional
clause in the MOU.
- Racquets Club
- Memorandum Of Understanding
Staff report dated January 22, 2004 recommending that the Board approve
the attached Memorandum of Understanding with the Vancouver Racquets Club dated January 1,
2004 which describes the key elements of a new lease.
- PNE/Hastings Process Framework
and Public Consultation Process
Staff report dated January 19, 2004 recommending that the Board endorse
recommendations A and B in the attached City
Council report dated January 19, 2004 entitled PNE/Hastings Process Framework
and Public Consultation Process.
ENQUIRIES, OTHER MATTERS AND NEW BUSINESS
MOTIONS
The following motion was put forward by Commissioner Anton,
It is resolved that staff be requested to work with the Stanley
Park Ecology Society and the Vancouver Trolley Company to develop
a plan for the installation of fare boxes into the free summer Stanley
Park Shuttle buses for the purpose of collecting donations for the
Stanley Park Ecology Society.
IN-CAMERA MEETING
THAT the Board later this evening go into a meeting which is closed
to the public, pursuant to Section 165.2 of the Vancouver Charter,
to discuss matters related to paragraphs:
(c) labour relations or employee negotiations;
(e) the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements.
