STAFF REPORT

Prospect Point Parking Lot and Road Relocation
The Board approved the $907,869 contract be awarded to Grandview Blacktop for Prospect Point parking lot and road relocation. The new road alignment is part of the restoration of Stanley Park following the dramatic windstorms of December 2006 which severely damaged this popular tourist destination. The result will be improved aesthetics, an enhanced walking and viewing experience, and better drainage away from the escarpment above the Seawall. Landscape construction will be tendered separately. Repairs to the Seawall and all the changes at Prospect Point will be complete by November.
