CHAIR'S REPORT
The Chair reported on the celebration of the Sikh religion founder, ParkPartners Brunch, Mayor's Arts Awards, seasonal lighting at Aberthau, Bright Nights Opening, Sports Summit, World AIDS Day and the passing of Dr. David Lam.

GENERAL MANAGER'S REPORT
Park Board related items on City Council and Committee agenda this week: 2011 Operating Budget - Proposed Budget and Public Consultation Update, 2011 Sustainable Communities Conference in Victoria, Downtown Eastside Capital Budget - Oppenheimer Park Improvements, and Hastings Park/PNE Master Plan.

COMMITTEE REPORT
The recent Services and Budgets Committee agenda included: approval of 2011 committee meeting dates, 2011 Operating Budget update on City process, and October statements. The next Planning and Environment Committee meeting date will be changed from December 2 to December 9.

STAFF REPORT

2011 Operating Budget Initiatives
The Board deferred the motion to approve a number of 2011 operating budget initiatives to a future board meeting.

NEXT MEETING
The next regular Board meeting will be held at 7 pm on Monday, December 13, 2010 at 2099 Beach Avenue.
