CHAIR'S REPORT

The Chair reported on Remembrance Day events held in parks around the city.

GENERAL MANAGER'S REPORT

There are no Park Board related items on City and Council agenda this week. The General Manager also reported on Park Board staff's significant improvement in participation rates for United Way donations this year, more than doubling 2010 levels.

STAFF REPORTS

Stone Sculputre in Seaforth Peace Park
The Board accepted the donation of a stone sculpture that includes an engraved fish soup recipe representing harmony amongst cultures to be installed beside the pathway in Seaforth Peace Park. The engraved granite stone will be a symbol of the Latin American community's contribution to Vancouver.
