Park Board Special Meeting

Motion

Commissioner Coupar put forward a motion that a Committee be formed to review historic precedent and practice taking into account Park Board had historically been less formal in its discussions than City Council.  Then report back to the Board on steps which can be taken to insure informed and transparent public debate; and that this Committee require the attendance of either the Park Board General Manager or the Deputy General Manager as well that outside legal counsel is made available to assist the Committee in its recommendations to the Board.  The motion was defeated.

Next Meetings
The next Park Board Committee Meeting will be held at 7 pm on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 2099 Beach Avenue with the next Regular Park Board Meeting held immediately following the Committee Meeting that evening.
